Pineal Gland, the seat of intuition and clairvoyance

The pineal gland is able to pick up the invisible forms of light and vibration from our environment, although most people are not consciously aware of it.

These forms of light and vibration are what we experience as our spiritual senses. We all have spiritual gifts clairaudience, clairvoyance, or clairsentience. We have the ability to feel what other people are feeling. We have the ability to talk to people on the Otherside. We have the ability to channel and receive information, intuitive nudgings, and premonitions.

When you truly connect to your spiritual inheritance, you will realize that it reflects the state of Oneness that connects us. Our physical bodies project the appearance of us being separate individuals with our own separate space. However, when we move into our spirituality, we connect to all Oneness and we become One Consciousness.

Most people sense that they aren’t living from their highest potential.

For most, this “knowing” is subconscious. That is, a part of us knows, but consciously, we don’t connect with this reality.

We know the difference between when we’re operating from our higher potential and when we’re not.

But why do we often fail to operate from our innate power in the first place?

One reason is that our brains rarely function the way they’re designed to run. The pineal gland and many other vital glands and organs—aren’t functioning within their intended design.

Even more disconcerting, when the pineal isn’t functioning correctly, we often don’t even know there’s a problem.

In the Yoga tradition, the third eye is called the Ajna chakra. In Yoga believe that a blocked Ajna chakra leads to: Uncertainty, Confusion, Jealousy, Cynicism, and Pessimism.

But when the third eye is open, we perceive reality differently. We experience more: Clarity, Intuition, Empathy, Focus, and Decisiveness.

Admittedly, the Penal gland is qualities anyone can associate with our higher potential. These qualities are also essential for our spiritual and psychological development.

Pineal gland activation brings a more significant connection to the natural world and a willingness to let go of ego pursuits that shut out our soul.

Lucid dreaming, astral projection, and an enhanced imagination are topics related to pineal gland activation. The pineal may be a gateway to higher creativity.

What Does the Pineal Gland Do?

The pineal gland acts as the body’s light meter. It receives light information from the eyes and then sends out hormonal messages to the body.

This tiny gland transmits information to the body about the length of daylight, commonly called circadian rhythm.

How does the pineal transmit information to the rest of the body?

As part of the endocrine system, the pineal synthesizes and secretes a hormone called melatonin directly into the bloodstream.

Melatonin is a serotonin-derived hormone that modulates sleep patterns.

By inhibiting the release of certain reproductive hormones from the pituitary gland, melatonin affects our reproductive organs in both males and females.

The pineal also secretes more melatonin in children than adults, which is believed to inhibit premature sexual development. After puberty, the pineal shrinks and releases less melatonin.

Light exposure to our eyes mainly determines how much melatonin the pineal synthesizes and secretes.

We produce less melatonin in daylight hours and increase secretion during the night.

Unlike most of our brain, the blood-brain barrier doesn’t isolate the pineal from the rest of our body. Instead, the pineal gets a tremendous amount of blood flow, second only to the kidneys.

Surrounded by and immersed in cerebrospinal fluid, this gland camps out in a tiny cave-like area behind and above the pituitary gland.

In the 1990s, British scientist Jennifer Luke discovered high concentrations of fluoride in the pineal gland of her subjects.

Fluoride, commonly found in most municipal water as well as pesticides, accumulates in the pineal more than any other part of the body. This accumulation of fluoride forms phosphate crystals, creating a hard shell around the pineal called calcification.

Simply put, when our pineal gland is calcified, we’re out of balance with nature, impeding proper biological functioning.

In many ways, the pineal is our body’s connection with the natural world.

Without a fully functioning pineal gland, other media messages will more easily program us, false belief systems will shape us, and poor decisions plague us.

Where is the Pineal Gland?

The pineal gland resides in the Third Ventricle, which is a vaulted chamber in the core of the brain that has been called the Fornix, Crystal Palace or Furnace…for the pineal is said to hold the Eternal Flame, the Light of Consciousness or Spirit.

The external of the pineal gland, it looks like a pinecone, however, internally it looks somewhat similar to an eye. The interior walls of the pineal gland are made of rods and cones that are similar to those in the retina in our eyes.

The pineal is an endocrine gland located in the center of the brain, behind and above the pituitary gland.

The pineal referred to as the Third Eye, or the all-seeing eye, this small gland is a spiritual antenna believed to be involved in the experience of higher levels of consciousness.

The pineal gland produces a number of chemicals and hormones that cause happiness, serenity, euphoria, relaxation, beneficent behavior, balanced emotions, and psychic abilities. The pineal gland may have the highest energy level in the body as it is bathed in highly charged cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and has more blood flow per cubic volume than any other organ. In fact, the pineal gland lies outside of the blood-brain barrier and thus is particularly susceptible to fluoride, aluminum, and other heavy metals because it is not protected by the blood-brain barrier and has a very high blood perfusion rate.

The pineal plays a key role in the production of the neuroendocrine chemicals because it has one of the highest concentrations of serotonin in the body, and serotonin is a critical precursor to them. A key role of the pineal gland is to synthesize melatonin from tryptophan, which controls the sleep/wake cycle. Melatonin helps to regulate circadian rhythms and plays a role in the timing of puberty and the various aspects of our biological clock. Deficiency in melatonin is linked with premature sexual development, insomnia, cancer, Alzheimer’s and mental disorders such as bipolar.

As the pineal awakens, releasing biochemicals such as serotonin, tryptamine, pinoline, melatonin, or DMT, it affects the colliculus or optic tectum forms a major component of the midbrain, which can explain some of the lights, visions, and celestial music that people report when the third eye is open and the Crystal Palace is activated.

According to Dr. Jacob Liberman after light leaves the pineal gland the light actually enters into every cell of the body…thus every cell in the body “sees” whatever your eyes are looking at. Dr. Jacob Liberman is an internationally recognized pioneer in the fields of light, vision, and consciousness, and author of Light, Medicine of the Future.

Most of what we think, say, and do is controlled by unconscious brain processing. While our personality is usually focused on the outer sensate world rather than the higher spheres, the Pineal Gland is like the fulcrum between the inner and outer worlds. The process of pineal detoxification is an essential place to start if we want to exploit our full spiritual capabilities and restore our capacity for dual, inner/outer vision.
